I just had my fourth appointment with Dr. Lin and I'm extremely impressed every time. I met with her and she is very warm, personable and compassionate. The staff are polite and friendly, the facilities and equipment are up-to-date, and all the dental work they've done for me has turned out very well. Overall, I'm happy with this office and plan to continue seeing them.
She is the only dentist that would take half hour or even more sitting down in her office teaching you some fundamental stuffs about tooth caring. And the stuffs she taught me were extremely useful and helpful.
Because of my rapid moving, I had a few different dentists over the past years, and Dr. Lin is the best and most professional dentists I‘ve ever met so far.
I have teeth that need a lot of treatment, my previous dentist couldn’t do anything for me but referred me to see another two dentists. I’m very worried about her recommendation and decided to find a dentist by myself. I went to UConn Dentist office and Dr. Lin explained everything and I feel confident that she will do her best to take care of my needs. Very happy with my decision to switch dentists. She did the crown for one of my teeth and also fix another two teeth, I didn’t feel any unconformable during her treatment, they all go very well. Now my whole family see her and I highly recommend her to all my friends.
Definitely would recommend her if you live in the area. You might have to wait some time for an appointment before she can see you for a initial checkup on you (for me, it was two months). But trust me, it is worth the time.
Today, a dentist called me for "apologizing" but in the meanwhile said she said she had told me before this was to be expensive, which she actually never did. All they cared is their reputation, and they obtained it by making up stories.
My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist! We are so happy that we found Dr. Lin. She and her staff are a wonderful team. She is an excellent dentist, from attending to education and prevention to performing fillings (we've only had a few!) and advanced procedures. Dr. Lin is professional, efficient and makes sure her patients remain comfortable while getting the work done. She's the first dentist I've come across who actually takes the time to sit down with each of her patients to teach them how to correctly brush, and provides great tips on how to improve their technique. If you want outstanding, thorough dental care, go see Dr. Lin.
I had four wisdom teeth extractions, and a couple of filling with her for the past year. And they all went very well. My discomfort during treatment was kept to a minimal level. She even called me after the day of extraction to see if everything was alright. Again, she is the only doctor who did this.
Dr. Hsung Lin is the best dentist I have ever had, hands down. She has been more informative on the correct ways to clean my teeth than any other dentist or dental hygienist I have had, and she has made me more motivated to take care of dental hygiene because her style is just right - neither pushy nor unconcerned. She removed two of my wisdom teeth and I had no pain - not even when the numbing agents wore off! She is very knowledgeable and yet very down-to-earth, approachable, and kind. She is genuinely interested in your comfort but also makes sure the right work is getting done in your mouth. The front office staff are also super efficient, nice, and helpful. I am so pleased to be able to go to UConn Health Storrs Dental for all my dental work, and so grateful that they have an office here. I highly recommend Dr. Lin and the rest of the staff!
DON"T GO. They will promise you "this procedure only charges you XXX" before they charge you extra and use an excuse such as" what we talked about before was just an ESTIMATED cost blah blah". They did mediocre work on your teeth but dare to charge you twice as much as it is worth. Also, when my wife and I went there each time, we had to wait for at least an hour on average even though we had made an appointment.
