I was left at the sink for quite some time. I ended up with bruises on the back of my neck that lasted for about a week. I discounted this all as part of the process, but it was not a pleasant experience.

I love this salon. Everyone is friendly and amazing service. Andrea is awesome and a talented stylist

In the end, Robin had no knowledge of any other products than Redkin (which, we all have used Pantene in our lives, come on). It seems there is some heavy pressure for sales, as I was told that "unlike other products" a Redkin curl gel had concentrated product, and that its first ingredient wasn't water. A quick glimpse at said ingredient list proved that was a lie.

My experience may represent the minority, I'm not sure. But I do not think I will be coming back.

So, I left feeling exhausted, in pain, and cheated out of my money. My hair came out alright, but not as I expected. I ended up buying the Redkin products, which my hair did not particularly like (it seems the lightening process was a bit harsh).

I had Robin as my stylist. I came in for a balayage highlight on my virgin hair. Part of getting your hair done is the experience itself, and after debating on whether or not to post, I decided I would share.

Absolutely terrible.. they dont know how to dye hair. Dye came out dark in spots and nothing in other spots. They cut hair just as good as they dye. Never ever going back there.. $60 and they did a crappy $5 job.

Ironically, the other salon I went to had Redkin products as well. The service was just better, and I left with what I wanted. For less money.

Staff are super friendly and all very talented.

I wanted to have subtle, dark reddish/brown highlights. What I got were highlights that were much lighter, but they looked alright. Robin was asking around trying to figure out how a certain color was made (assumedly the color she wanted to use on my hair). When trying to converse with Robin, she simply responded "I can't hear you." over the hair dryers. It got the point where I gave up conversation - which made the long process feel even longer.

I was going to come back, and had an appointment rescheduled with Caroline. But life unfortunately got crazy and with last minute schedule changes I ended up not being able to show. I didn't reschedule (partially because I felt bad for being a no-show, and partially because I was intimidated that I would have a grudge against me for it - as another review states, the salon does have a cliquey feel to it). I ended up going somewhere else, and having a vastly more enjoyable experience, with better results.

Always happy with my hair and the staff is fantastic.
